You might want to consider taking a deep breath. If many of of us *don’t* assume that all bike-car accidents were the fault of the car driver, it still doesn’t follow that we are assuming the opposite either.

Having said that, I still don’t know why anyone would be so excited about Americans getting less exercise. Out of the people I know who ride bikes, exactly one of them had an e-bike. (If you live in a hilly area, well okay then, maybe.)

And, they’re basically motorcycles. The safety issues are real.
